Moving & Storage Policy

By choosing to engage our services, customers hereby agree to the below stated policies.

  1. Customers must pay in full upon completion of the job. Any damage claims must be submitted in writing to us at within 7 days of your move. Unless payment is made in full as is due, we are not required to answer or process a claim. Do not assume you may deduct the money from the final bill to compensate yourself in the event of damage.
  2. We only move empty freezer, refrigerator, wine cellar, wardrobe, drawers and cabinet. Damages to items stored in these items will not be our responsibility.
  3. We only move empty pet encagement, such as but not limited to, bird/hamster/rabbit cages and fish/turtle tanks. We are not responsible for your pets.
  4. Hombre Logistics Pte Ltd will not be responsible for any or all types of marble, and similar materials, due to the age or hairline crack that can cause splitting. We will try to move it as safely as possible.
  5. If the move requires work above and beyond the original order for services, Hombre Logistics Pte Ltd reserves the right to fulfill other obligations before completing additional work. For example, customer have originally ordered for mover service. On the day of the job, customer requested additional work not mentioned during the initial agreement, like disposal or additional pick ups/drop offs etc., which will significantly increase total move time. In order to make our schedule on time for the next move, we reserve the right to postpone additionally requested services till our next availability and/or after completion of other jobs that day. Additional charges will apply.
  6. Hombre Logistics Pte Ltd will not be liable for functionality of electronic devices, such as but not limited to, laptops, television etc. The original packaging is the best. Alternatively, we will pack it and safe-wrap it, in the safest way we can. In any case, please note that in the absence of physical evidence of external damage or negligence (visible damage) we are not responsible for its functionality after delivery.
  7. Please note:  if customer choose to help with any part of the move out of goodwill, Hombre Logistics Pte Ltd are excluded from liability for the entire move, in the event of any injury sustained to the customer arising from the move.
  8. Simulated Wood Products and Pressed Board have poor structural integrity, which does not lend itself to moving or repair. We will move these items carefully but cannot be responsible for damage of simulated wood or pressed board furniture. Furniture manufactured from pressboard and particleboard is designed to go into a box when it is moved from the manufacturer to the retailer then to the customer unassembled. It is not built to withstand the normal stresses of a move as an assembled unit. Most are not designed with the extra wood structural pieces to adequately brace the unit for movement. Disassembly may be impossible without creating substantial, irreparable damage. Pressed wood and particleboard furniture is moved at your own risk. Hombre Logistics Pte Ltd will not be liable for damages on these materials.
  9. For safety reasons and their protection, small children and pets must be out of work area especially during moving day.
  10. Hombre Logistics Pte Ltd does not re-assemble any item that we did not disassemble unless we feel it is safe to do so. We can take apart simple items like bed frames; take legs off of tables, etc. Hombre Logistics Pte Ltd will not assemble or take apart anything too complex or requires manual.  Please check with us prior to the move if you have any questions or require clarification.
  11. Potted Plants especially larger ones, are very difficult to move when full. The vibrations of the truck can sometimes crack the pots when full. We will be able to move potted plants for customer as they wish. Hombre Logistics Pte Ltd will not be responsible for any damages to any potted plants or the pot/container they are planted in.
  12. Hombre Logistics Pte Ltd tries to be as flexible as we can with scheduling. If a customer cancels a job with less than 72 hours notice, the deposit will be forfeited. The forfeited deposit is to compensate us for lost work that could have been earned if the customer did not schedule the job. Rearranging or rescheduling the job to another date is subject to availability and another separate deposit needs to be made.
  13. Sometimes, we are required to move heavy objects and need to use our equipment such as moving dollies to move items out of the house. Customer’s permission will be asked before using such equipment inside house premises and Hombre Logistics Pte Ltd will not be liable for any damages to flooring or carpet arising from such maneuvers. Otherwise, customer may advise workers on how they prefer such item to be handled. Hombre Logistics Pte Ltd and its workers reserves the right to agree to customer suggestion(s) after accessing feasibility and safety aspects of the given suggestion.
  14. Hombre Logistics Pte Ltd shall not be held liable for damages to items not packed by us, if there is no clear evidence of damage on the outer packaging due to our mishandling during assignment.
